Vintage Compacts

Beautiful vintage Lucite compact. Clear Lucite over white and black. Very detailed Profile of a Roman Lady. Inside has Puff and sifter. The Puff says TIFFANY. Not sure if this is the Tiffany Company or another Tiffany. Very nice condition and measures 4 inches.

Stunning vintage compact in original box, never used. Woven needlepoint cover on gold tone compact. Sifter and Puff with clear mirror. Measures 2 1/2inches. Made by Nacon and comes in Nacon box. Excellent condition.

This gold tone Stratton compact is done in a saddlebag shape.  The lid is enameled black and has a retro design in deep orange, gold and white.  The mirror is clear and intact.  There is no full inner lid to this compact.  It is a convertible style more suitable to solid makeup or pressed powder.  The sifter is present, but not the puff.  There is a spot of discoloration to the bottom of the powder well which will be covered up when you add your powder or makeup.  The outer clasp is secure.  This piece measures 3" in diameter.  In excellent condition.

This gold tone Stratton compact is done in the large Rondette style.  The lid is enameled white and covered with spider webs.  There is a blue urn filled with a beautiful floral bouquet at the center.  The mirror is clear and intact.  The full inner lid features the "compact in hand" logo and a secure clasp.  There is a fairly good sized blob of discoloration at the 12o'clock position on the inner lid.  The sifter is present but not the puff.  The outer clasp is secure.  The bottom shows a lot of wear.  There are a few blobs present like the one on the inner lid. . It has a diameter of  3.5".  This compact is still useable as it has a clear mirror and secure clasps, but is most suitable as a display piece for collectors.

This gold tone Stratton compact is done in the petite Princess style with its distinctively scalloped edges.  The lid appears to be engine-turned with a pattern of squiggles radiating from the center.  The mirror is clear and intact.  It has a beveled edge.  The full inner lid has a secure clasp and features the "compact in hand" logo.  The sifter is present, but not the puff.  The outer clasp is secure.  This piece has a diameter of  2.75".  The only thing that kept me from listing this on the Stratton compact page which is for pristine or excellent condition compacts is a scuff at the very center of the lid.  Otherwise, this compact is in very, very good condition.
